PM Modi's Visit to Kerala Sparks Controversy as CPI-M Demands Accountability for Pulwama Attack

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Kerala sparked controversy after the ruling Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) demanded accountability for the Pulwama attack. The Pulwama attack was a terrorist attack on a convoy of vehicles carrying security personnel on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway in February 2019, which resulted in the deaths of 40 Central Reserve Police Force personnel.

The CPI-M has accused the central government, including Prime Minister Modi, of not taking enough action to prevent the attack and failing to provide adequate security to the convoy. The party has demanded that the government provide a clear explanation of what happened and take responsibility for the security lapse.

However, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has hit back at the CPI-M, accusing them of playing politics and trying to score political points by raising the issue during Modi's visit to Kerala. The BJP has also defended the government's handling of the Pulwama attack and claimed that the security forces have taken appropriate measures to prevent such attacks in the future.

Overall, the controversy surrounding Prime Minister Modi's visit to Kerala and the demands for accountability for the Pulwama attack highlight the ongoing political tensions between the ruling BJP and the opposition parties in India.
